Fire Water Paper: A Vietnam Oratorio was commissioned by the Pacific Symphony Orchestra to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Vietnam War. The piece was recorded by the Pacific Symphony Orchestra with Yo-Yo Ma, 1996 and toured by the Boston Symphony Orchestra, 1996.
