FOR TRUMPET AND STRINGS
Premiered in October 2017 by the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia. Trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth performed the piece, written especially for her, with improvised cadenzas. “For Trumpet & Strings” is the 14 minute first movement of the 2018 two-movement Trumpet Concerto. “For Trumpet & Strings” can be played on its own as a one-movement piece.
